and through Comms Factorys’ ability to deploy dsl connectivity,
pre configured routers and flexible applications Business Partners
can support either a stand alone home worker or companies who
wish to deploy home working as a part of a larger installation.
Equipment
Router: A variety of routers are available on a hardware
only or pre configured basis depending on the Business Partners
requirements. Implementing quality of service, VLANs and VPN
tunnelling can be a daunting proposition if this is not part
of the partners core activity and as such Comms Factory are
committed to supporting our Business Partners.
Telephone Handset: Comms Factory recommend
Polycom SIP handsets due to their voice quality and robust business
styling however, a variety of alternative SIP handsets (Presently
Linksys, SNOM, Grandstream, Siemens, Cisco and Thompson). have
been tested and proved to be compatible with the solution. Comms
Factory aim to be as inclusive as possible and as such as new
handsets come to market they will be tested against the solution.
Analogue Terminal Adapters: A small but vital
part of the solution which enables end users to retain analogue
devices such as faxes, EPOS units or legacy modems. Comms Factory
provides a variety of units which have been tested with our
platform and which meet differing customer requirements.
Media Gateways: For working alongside legacy
TDM telephone systems Comms Factory provides Media Gateways.
Perfect for the customer who wishes to retain their phone system
or who has multiple sites with a variety of systems.
